If you love the holiday season but can’t ever have too many aquatic attractions in your life, you might feel like there’s nothing out there for you. But you’d be wrong! You just have to plan a trip to Kansas City.

Two exciting events are happening in November and December at the Kansas City Sea Life Aquarium. In November, the aquarium is host to November Scout Month. Following this, December and into January, the Sea of Lights takes place. The winter season at this wonderful aquarium is sure to be mesmerizing and fun for the whole family.

Make sure to make your early reservations at one of the beautiful hotels in Kansas City so as not to miss the fun.

November: Scout Month

Throughout the month of November, the oceans’ weird and wacky inhabitants can be viewed from beneath the waters. Scout groups, regardless of size, get to visit the aquarium at a discounted rate of $7+tax per scout and $10+tax per adult or child who is not a scout. Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies, Cubs, and others can enjoy the creatures from up close during their special month.

Both you and your family can enjoy the experience, whether you have a scout in your family or not. Walk-up purchases only are the means of attending this November 1st through 30th event if you plan on taking advantage of discounted tickets.

December and January: Sea of Lights

December 6th through January 5th is the time of the Sea of Lights at the Kansas City Sea Life Aquarium. Thousands of lights illuminate the aquarium as the holiday season arrives with a “Ho, ho, H2O!”
